Professor Mohammad Niamat Elahee
a professor of International Business at Quinnipiac University, CT, USA, earned his Ph.D. with a double major in Marketing and International Business from the University of Texas Pan-American, USA and MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of New Brunswick-Fredericton, Canada. As an expert of cross-cultural negotiations.
Dr. Elahee has provided executive training programs to different organizations and executives in the US, Mexico, Nicaragua, and China. He has also given lectures on negotiations at graduate level in Canada, China, France, Germany, Mexico, Canada, and the US. Dr. Elahee is a widely published researcher and a recipient of multiple teaching excellence awards. He has published in many reputed international business journals and presented in leading international and national conferences all over the world. He is a co-author of a text on International Business that is being widely used in many US universities. He has also co-edited a book on Iran’s reintegration with the West in the aftermath of lifting the UN sanctions.
Prior to joining the academia, Dr. Elahee worked at Deloitte & Touche, and the Canadian International Development Agency and had a brief stint at the World Bank Head Quarters in Washington DC. He has appeared in Fox News and NPR and has published op-eds in various newspapers in the US and other countries.
Professor Elahee has served in many journals in the capacity of area editor, associate editor and reviewer including Journal of Comparative International Management, Journal of Asia Business Studies, Journal of transnational Management, and the Review of International Business and Strategy. He also worked as a reviewer for the US Department of Education. Professor Elahee is a member of the Board of Advisors of Albert Schweitzer Institute, named after the 1952 Nobel Peace Laureate Dr. Albert Schweitzer. He has also served on the Board of Columbus House and TradeFlow 21.
